The Beginning of Mila’s Mulligans

Mila’s Mulligans was created out of love, loss, and the desire to honor a remarkable life. The journey began with a simple idea—a golf outing to bring together those grieving the passing of Arian Walker Hannon-Kohler. What started as a single event to support a family in mourning quickly evolved into something far greater: a non-profit dedicated to keeping Arian’s memory alive through acts of kindness, community support, and philanthropy.

Who Was Arian?

Arian Walker Hannon-Kohler was more than a son, brother, father, and friend—he was a guiding light in the lives of many. A proud graduate of East Stroudsburg High School South, Arian was known for his infectious smile, unwavering loyalty, and a heart that radiated kindness. Whether he was competing as a student-athlete, volunteering with the Special Olympics, or later serving as a United States Marine, Arian’s impact on the people around him was undeniable.

One of Arian’s most admirable qualities was his selflessness. He stood up for those who needed a voice, mentored young athletes, and always made time to support his community. His genuine care for others and ability to lift spirits left an everlasting mark on those who knew him.

Through the Arian Walker Hannon-Kohler Memorial Scholarship, we recognize students who embody Arian’s dedication to community service and leadership. The scholarship is a lasting tribute to his generosity and a way to empower young individuals to follow in his footsteps.

Our flagship event, the Mila’s Mulligans Golf Outing, continues to bring together friends, family, and supporters for a day of remembrance, laughter, and giving back. Each year, the proceeds help fund scholarships and other community initiatives that align with Arian’s passion for service.
